A tribute from our patron
What a wonderful person Sue was. I feel blessed to have known her and called her a friend. I first got to know Sue when she wrote to me over 10 year ago, asking me to come to talk at Epsom Mental Health Week. Afterwards we corresponded and she asked me to become patron of Love Me Love My Mind. Her enthusiasm and dedication for helping others was clear from the first time I met her and one of the reasons I so readily accepted the role. Over the years, i got to know Sue well and I was always struck by her extraordinary generosity. She seemed to have endless time and energy for others. She was perspicacious and wise and yet eager to learn and hear about other people’s experiences. She was kind, humble, thoughtful and bright. She was one of the life’s truly good people and has left this world better off for her having lived in it. She was greatly loved and will be very much missed by all those whose life she touched and enriched.
